New York City. Over 8 million people from practically every corner of the world. It’s easy to get lost in but also easy to forget how you’re all connected. Five years from now, a group of young people connected in their own ways, live their lives normally. But slowly they become introduced to one another, person by person, and find new connections. Ones that they never would have thought possible before.
How the new connections are made, and whether or not they decide to keep them at all, is all up to you. The true connecting force in the group are Rachel Berry, Mercedes Jones and Lauren Zizes. Each one is talented in their own field of career, different from the others, but they remain best friends through everything and are the catalyst in helping everyone else meet.
A Facebook Glee RP that is set five years into the future in 2017. There was no McKinley or New Directions; everyone came from their own parts of the country. They don’t know each other unless stated in the character bios but somehow start to get introduced to one another.

Bio: Blaine always knew that there was a place for him in New York. He knew that if he could only get out of Ohio, away from the bullies and the empty house that taunted him, he could be really and truly happy. Growing up, Blaine’s parents were distant at best, arranging for the best tutors and care takers to come to the Anderson home. He excelled in his piano and voice lessons, which Mr. Anderson found disappointing, and, if he was being honest, suspicious. He had hoped for one of his sons to be a politician, or a lawyer. He had never wanted a dancing, singing fairy. And, lo and behold, he had two. When Blaine came out to his family, he was sixteen. The bullies at school had left him with one too many inexplicable bruises, and his mother worked the answer out of him. His parents, of course, were horrified. Though they allowed him to attend Dalton Academy, Blaine always suspected that it was more for their benefit than his. This way, they didn’t have to see their gay child, didn’t have to have much of an attachment to him at all, except for on holidays. Blaine even thought that they might have stopped claiming to have two sons. The switch, however, was good for Blaine, and he grew into himself, and into his voice. He quickly became the lead voice for the Warblers, and lead them to several victories (and, unfortunately, several losses). To Blaine’s utter joy, he was accepted into Tisch at NYU, and eventually graduated with an Honors in Theatre Studies. Before long, he was throwing himself into every audition he could possibly find, and somehow, Blaine found himself with a role in a Broadway musical, thanks to a bubbly, confident girl named Rachel Berry. The hours are long and the work is hard, with high expectations requiring even bigger results, but Blaine Anderson has never been so happy.
